Meet the team
Fetch Pet Services is a fast growing business with many years of animal experience between all of its' team. We are all dedicated and devoted to providing a high level of care for every single pet and their owner.
Here is a little bit of an insight into our team.
Heather
Heather is the owner of Fetch Pet Services. She currently owns her own dogs and cats, along with an African House snake. All of her animals have been rescued, and one of the dogs has undertaken his Good Citizen Award. Heather has also completed various work experience placements ranging from a cattery to working with the Army and the Metropolitan Police with their dogs.
With a National Diploma in Animal Management and also a Degree with honours in Animal Behaviour and Training, her career choice was never going to be anything other than animal related. Having been fortunate enough to be able to work for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, has provided her with a great deal of experience when it comes to working with neglected dogs and cats. She had to assess them for any potential behavioural traits that may need further work.
Heather has undertaken courses in animal training, lead training and animal welfare right through to maintaining and dealing with behaviour problems. She has also been on courses by other animal trainers and even courses on alternative techniques such as T-Touch.
Kate
Kate is a dog walker with Fetch Pet Services who has always owned animals and enjoyed nothing more than having them around. As a teenager, she completed various work experience placements within veterinary practices and animal shelters.
Kate became a fully qualified veterinary nurse in 2006 and she has also undertaken a two year course at university in Veterinary Nursing Science.
She sees herself as being very fortunate to also get a job working with stray and abandoned animals at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. Whilst she was there she was part of the team that treated and nursed the animals back to health so they could start their new lives in a new home. From there Kate was able to gain some experience working with the Blue Cross, helping to treat all those that came through their doors. From there on, she decided to go in to private practices and worked in very busy London clinics, in Earls Court and Marble Arch.
After spending many years in private veterinary practices Kate decided that she wanted to be able to provide her knowledge and passion for animals to help clients and pets have a happy life, this is when she joined Fetch Pet Services.
